Company Bio
Fred and Ann Bevan have been in the horse industry
for over twenty years and built and founded
Double Eagle Horse Farm, an equine training and sales facility, at it's
present location in 1997.
Ann, the primary teacher and trainer, lessoned early in her career on
Long Island,NY at the Bethpage State Park Stable. With ten years in the
English discipline moved to PA. in 1962 and started riding Western. She
rode with
Pocono Rough Riders and showed Western Pleasure and gymkhana events.
Fred, a "native" of PA., rides Western and started riding early. Fred
has participated in several Kenny Harlow clinics, and is in charge of
the Trail riding program here at the farm. He also operates our equine
transport service, "Double Eagle Horse Transport", traveling more than
20,000 miles a year.
Teaching both English and Western discipline, our philosophy is to start
everyone "from the ground up" , to make more confident, knowledgeable
students.
Fred and Ann live on the premises, allowing them to monitor all phases
of the farm on a daily basis.
